Was perusing imagery where I monitored NVN forces infiltrating through Laos (the Ho Chi Minh trail) to South Vietnam in 1967/68, and came across this strange facility being constructed in the middle of nowhere. Any Ideas?

check GE layers - photo layer in this case- every time before posting: based on titles of Panoramio shots this is "Ban Keng Kien", "New Camper Town" or "new village of Cu Chi" or "Kaleum Mai" under construction. Another panoramio shot title says this is "New Lost City" and another "new city of Grapevine". however some confusion can be detected around (Google transated) settlement names it seems quite clear, that this is some construction works of a new (group of) settlement(s). (other photo title mentions "6 new cities") small, pretty houses, roads to schools and other, brand new social, governmental buildings can be seen on panoramio images from 2015. (also three cool off-road photos on the dirtroads to S!) BingMap has the same old imagery from 2014, however using GE TimeSlider tool one can see that there were nothing in 2006 except some patches of clear-cuts. *** it is situated in Administrative area of Kaleum and this is said to be construcion works of a new district capital (click link to article quoted below): coordinates: 15°46'54.04"N, 106°54'26.27"E placemark: settlement under construction.kmz (988 B) good find! g
