Maybe imagery distortion, or strange wind patterns, or the pilot of the airliner flying over the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico has had one to many with his lunch.

nice find! (: when elevation- and imagery data makes friendship, in other words: 2D photo layed to a 3D surface I thought. but... notice that effect does not ends switching GE Terrain layer off, so it might be caused by some satellite imaging processes. or this pilot? no need (even no useful) to copy, only contact a mod. or admin. and they will move it for you to the proper board!
quite the same for me this stays here or moves, however Data Discussions board just were made for finds just like yours.
