i 80 goes west to Berkeley / Oakland and east to Fairfield; farther east are i5 and i99 north to Redding and Portland, and south to The Sonoran Desert (Arizona), and east to Salt Lake City.

Fairfield are Major Transportation roughts and their associated interchanges are about 35 miles apart.

This is the only such configuration of major interchanges I have seen across America.
