Hi and Welcome Brandon! Your plane discovery (let say: your find on GE imagery) has already been discussed on this forum some months ago, where anyone can find coordinates, placemark, photos and correct ID for the wreck. (without secrecy): googleearthcommunity.proboards.com/thread/4204/russian-flying-diomede-4641-0357Around here we are GE fanatics too and believe me: some guys are damn good in this profession. So never hesitate to share your finds here in future to avoid such "second-hand discoveries"! Best! g

Wow, really! So someone posted my plane finding on here and did not throw my name into it, that's not very cool. It is cool he or she knew where to post it, but uncool that they took credit for my find. The person should have felt bad after everyone was saying good find. You would think that person would have mentioned my name or at least they would throw our the fact that they did not find the thing. But I do know about this site now and am learning the way, I will be seeing you guys quite regularly now I imagine. So, nice to meet you guys and shame on the user who took credit for my find. If you ever have any questions or comments for me Email address removed as per rule 3. No personal telephone numbers, email addresses or personal information.

Brandon! you have posted on 10.JUN on quora, then 2 days later someone posted the location here without giving credit of your find, BUT... ...what if that lakiger32 guy have never heard about quora? do not you think it is possible that there are multiple parallel finds in every hour in the World as millions of users keep browsing this brilliant hi-res global map in every millisecond of the day? the Bering Strait and Diomedes in the really middle of it is an interesting, easy-to-spot location, visited by many panoramio and GE users long before your quora posting. panoramio photo of the wreck is from 18.02. 2011., so what poor Eugeniy Parshutkin would to say - who have found it first and in real btw.!? well seems a bit problematic to state that this plane wreck would be your (own) find, and this is only one reason you might not to be SO upset! keep your chin up and let us see what else do you have in the pocket! (: best! g

Well to be honest, I do think that just days after my post that literally had just around 100k views on the first day of this plane that 2 days after I have posted the planes locations. There is really only one photo of this plane taken from a helicopter taken over a freezing government Russian island. Everything about this plane is still a mystery. The reason it is there, what it was used for who used it. Did it play a role in WW2 or the Cold War.
So with literally not 1 piece of info and 1 photo found anywhere with around 100,000 people looking for info. And with google earth being 17 years old and nothing, not even a picture of this plane has made it on to the web.
So so with all of this and someone else finds it 2 days later. Man I would feel bad if that happened. But I see the odds in % of this happening just 2 days apart to be just above 0%. But it is possible. and I'm not mad because it is a plane. I'm not even mad. I'm just disappointed in people. It is bad to take credit for someone else's work. I'm just upset that I did not think someone would do something like that and then I saw it, pure disappointment.

As we are being honest, I think you need to lighten up, I don't like or want you're attitude on these friendly forums. I have more complaints about you than any other member. So, I wish you luck with the obscure blog and G+ page you have, but I'm removing you're membership from these forums
