I noted very recently with Google Earth (GE) Pro that I have lost ELEVATION data; that's elevation of land ASL. At the bottom right corner I just see a constant: elev 0m
Are other users experiencing this same problem? I hope this isn't a sign of the Google folk downgrading the stand alone Google Earth program.
The new GE web browser doesn't provide this information. Seams like the GE product is going backwards at a rate of knots.
I look forward to replies.

Try THIS. Worked for him. Worked for my friend. If that doesn't work, take two aspirin and contact THE GOOGLE EARTH HELP FORUM, where some pretty savvy people hang out. Welcome aboard, and good luck.

Hi Ewan,
It sounds as if you may not have the Terrain layer checked. This at the bottom of the Layers panel on the left. If you don't see the side panels, you can activate the sidebar in the View menu. Without the Terrain layer, Google Earth is flat and you do indeed see the elevation as 0 in the status bar.
