Hi, I direct a non-profit organization that develops free science and engineering curricula for K-12 schools. I am looking for a free online computer model that students can use to compare land use scenarios, and wondered if anyone might have any ideas for me to take a look at? I don't know, for instance, if it might be possible to use Google Earth in this way. Ideally, students would be able to compare land use scenarios in their local regions, for instance to compare residential development scenarios (1/4 acre plots vs. skyscrapers, e.g.). Any ideas you may have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sam Stier Mr. Sam Stier Director, The Center for Learning with Nature www.LearningWithNature.org
