A friend who was my co-worker and neighbor for over twenty years, now lives in Prescott Valley, Arizona. He lost his wife some while ago. His wife's sister and her husband came from Japan to visit him. One of the places they want to visit is Tucson. We frequently talk on Skype, and at the time this file was made we discussed his plans for their visit. I thought I'd knock out a little tour, to show them what they won't be able to see from the highway.
The tour begins in a large open field near his home. It ends at Tohono Chul Park in Tucson, one of the places my friend's late wife, a humming bird fancier, loved to visit, and one of the places my friend plans to take his wife's family.
You may wish to enable the Roads Layer to more easily follow the route, but I prefer not to. The trip uses Arizona State Routes 69A and 69, and then Interstate Routes 17 and 10.
