Hi - first time on forum. Browsing and found an odd formation in Venezuela...several straight lines of bright yellow craters? 6°23'59.7"N 68°52'40.7"W 4 lines of craters

hi and welcome! interesting find! frankly, I have not even a faint idea:-it might not be about water supply as can be found by the river -no electric poles installations process (small sections with no main directions or nodes) some for sure:-only these can be find in Venezuela (at least I have find none on the Colombian side) -these were not there in 2006, only appearing on imagery from 2011 -by some cases other bright features (machinery?) can be seen left on the sites, so it might be an ongoing process (check my 'equipment' marks) probably some geologic survey.(?) (really these seem not to be dug out, but blasted) have made a quick search around as attached: crater lines Venezuela.kmz (3.14 KB) have made me curious so I bookmark this thread. see you, g

My first thought is abandoned bore holes, maybe test holes for oil. "Venezuela’s Orinoco Belt may contain up to 513 billion barrels of crude oil." Source
