How do I report erroneous place names?

There are numerous errors on the images of our island.  For Instance the place name for a nearby village is shown in the middle of a large mangrove swamp two miles away.  How can I bring this to the attention of someone who can make repairs?

You could try Google Map Maker , it offers the opportunity to actually edit data errors in GE by the user.

Failing that, a quick note on the Help Forum HERE might do the trick
