hi Ive just got into using google earth mars and have stumbled across what appears to be white specs over the martian surface, found about 5 so far, I thought they were on my screen at first but when I zoomed right in it looks like they are actually objects on the surface, reflecting light. I cant remember where it was I saw these but here are some pics , the quality is not as good in the saved images at full zoom so one may want to have a look for themselves. pic 4 just looks a bit odd, above the blurred area looks like water or something... pic 5 not sure what to make of this, is that a straight edge I can see??

This doesn't tell me anything of what you have found. Its best to >> Create A Placemark << rather than using pictures and/or coordinates. But since there are coordinates in each screenshot and writing down the coordinates to search these places, is time consuming and a waste of time in this community. Having a kmz file, is a lot easier, so each individual can click on kmz file to take them to area where you are talking about.

I thought there would be an easier way, im not that computer savvy to be honest. what is a kmz file?
still trying to get the hang of google earth and mars ect.
so you have no idea what the dots might be from the photos ive put up then? I know its not as good as seeing it properly for yourself but I was kind of hoping someone would clarify it right away as they do seem to be all over the place..
