Heya Folks My hobby is Chinese railway lines and I've made a few KMZ files of newly built lines. My focus is Yunnan and Xinjiang provinces (coming soon) as these provinces abut China's South East and Central Asia neighbours respectively and these lines will one day form the Trans Asian Railway (TAR) network / One Belt One Road Project / Trans Eur-Asian High Speed Railway Network (TEAHSRN) Most of these lines are semi-high speed, mixed use lines built to handle 200 kmph passenger transport. Lines are: - Guiyang - Kunming High Speed Railway (HSR) which is part of the Shanghai - Kunming HSR - built to 350kmph specification - Guangtong - Dali Mixed use mid high speed railway - 250kmph specification - Dali - Lijiang Railway - design speed unknown - between 160-250 for passengers. - Lijiang - Shangri-La (Zhongdian) railway. This line will eventually extend to Lhasa Tibet and is under construction so I've guesstimated the last bit of the line as the imagery is dated. Please note that tunnels are often curved but are shown as straight lines in my KMZ files. If you happen to know how to generate curved lines feel free to let me know in the comments. Enjoy!
