I recently downloaded an overlay from the Arizona Geological Society showing earth fissure locations near me. We had a new one open nearby. Now, I can't get rid of it. It takes up nearly half the screen. I have tried removing Google Earth entirely and re-downloading it, but the overlay returns. I've done it twice. Any suggestions?

Good'ay sid,
Welcome to the Google earth Community Forums.
That overlay file will be saved in your "Places" panel on the left of screen in GE.
Expand all the folders in the places panel and you will see the file, you can either simply turn it off by un-checking the box on the left, or, delete the file by right clicking on it and selecting delete.
Cheers.

Thank you so much. I really enjoy Google Earth, but that was taking up about half the screen. Now I can enjoy it again.
