Recently I noticed that when I click on an icon for a photo, a windows opens (as normal) but NO photo is displayed. I wondered if I have accidentally changed a setting and so to save time I simply uninstalled Google Earth and deleted the folder left over after uninstall, and reinstalled. The problem was NOT fixed. Would someone please help. Thanks

There is no settings to hide images. Do you mean the Panoramio and the 360 Cities photos? I'd try to clean the cache. This is done via the Options window..

Aha Panoramio - that's the problem I now see. Yes it was those and when I now click on the Panoramio 'icon' displayed when the picture tries to display I find out why.
Thanks.
