Here is a puzzle in two parts, I hope it works. In a book about 20th century photography I found a remarkable photo of a room. The lower 45% (estimate) is taken up by the face of a young woman who is lying on her back and looking upwards at the ceiling. The line stands for the end of the floor, the rectangles for French windows. It can be found on several websites, some of which mention the name of the street, but none that I found has the exact address. Through the windows (one of them open) you can see the other side of the street, and the houses are distinctive enough to identify the house where the photo was taken. (I’m about 90% certain of that. ) Post a SV image of the house of the lady’s face, please.

i knew i knew the pic!... the problem was to find the correct keywords according to your definition, yep! then suddenly: bingo! the lady's flat - opposite - is somewhere there, maybe a little bit more left or right: EDIT: for my 1st capture, the building you can see in the right window of the picture, i chose #26 of that street, but #10 could be the one...

Well done krenek for finding the street. I think it’s a different house. Here is a clue for others. The photographer has a blue plaque (which not many passers-by will notice).

Similar to Krenek. I thought #29 looked like the one in the photograph, and #28 or #30 would be the girl's flat. The ironwork on the balconies of this stretch of houses looks similar to the photo.

Thanks for the clue. In agreement with the others, I think this is the house on the photo, so the one across the street is this:

Well done Utapao and hhgygy. Yes, I think nr. 30 is the house, or maybe nr. 28 (and nrs. 31 and 29 are visible in the photo). This is supported by another photograph, taken from the balcony, looking beyond the street corner into another street. This photo features a chair (the same one) and a pair of binoculars.
