A radio telescope has picked up a "signal" that Russian astronomers believe might be coming from HD 164595, a sun-size star less than 100 light years away from Earth that hosts a planet about the same mass as Neptune.

HD 164595 is a G-type star located in the constellation of Hercules, 28.927 parsecs (about 94.4 light-years) from Earth, With an apparent magnitude of 7.075,the star can be found with binoculars or a low-power telescope in the constellation Hercules.
HD 164595 has one known planet, HD 164595 b, which orbits HD 164595 every 40 days. The planet has a mass equivalent of 16 Earths.
