it appears in 2005 in the Gobi desert, right in the middle of nowhere, lot of construction since 2013 the main landing strip (length 3 km !!!) fits exactly into the sandshape form next to it, really strange labyrinth1 appears out of nothing in 2005. it is a huge pattern (about 3 square kilometers!) made of sand. what is it for, any idea? there are landing strips? & underground bunkers military camps mainly in 2013 bombing test areas in 2006 strange shelters in the center formed like strange letters any eyewitnesses in the global village? thx for responding ATTACH BACK AREA51.KMZ

Hello Helmut, interesting find. I browsed the Internet and found that on wikimapia the places are marked as airforce test bombing sites (get the overlay here: wikimapia.org/ge.kml). I checked at wikipedia if there are air force bases around a found at least two in close proximity. Furthermore on some locations there are bombing craters. So maybe that is the solution... yeah its definitely a bombing space but what are these labyrinths for. they do not look like aims, maybe it is sort of calibration but still it doesnot make really sense these huge figures in the desert have you seen this huge flower directly at the left end of airbase no 1 ?
