So my problem is that after I attached a photo from Flickr to a GE place-mark using a URL, when I click on that mark no photo appeared and only a little icon with a question mark shows with the information. Clicking the mark did take me off site to the photo, but I thought the photo should appear with the other information for the place-mark. ? Any help is appreciated.

The question mark icon probably indicates that there is an error in the URL. If you would post the placemark in question, it would be much easier for someone to help you spot the problem.

I'm not sure how I post a placemark. Do you mean make a KMZ for it? As for the URL being in error, if I right click on the question mark icon a dialogue box opens saying "Open Image", and if I click on that it takes me to the correct image at my Flickr page. I don't want to go to my Flickr page, I want the image to show right on GE with the usual Description information that pops up when I click on the placemark. Perhaps that is not how it works? Thanks for helping in any regard.

OK Got it. I have to use the BBCode URL.

Your question in the first post was not clear but fine if you have solved your problem. Actually, what you should do is to 1. open the image in Flickr 2. click the "Share" button 3. switch to the "Embed" tab 4. copy the code 5. create the placemark in GE 6. paste 7. remove all codes except the <img .... > tag (or, if you want it to be clickable, remove the code <script...>...</script>, inclusive)
