newbie help with settings: long and lat labels

Hi - very glad to find this forum.
Some time ago did something to to show the long/lat grid overlay while I navigate around in google earth. I also turned on the long/lat labels.....so the degree labels for the long/lat also shows....but now I want to turn that OFF...and I do not remember how I turned it on so I now I don't know where to turn it off. I am sure it is simple but......Pls Help!

Think you're right, it may be as easy as going to the drop down menu and clicking on the "VIEW " tab,

The seventh option from the top is " Grid ", try giving that a click or un-checking the box and see what happens.
