Hi all,
I've been using Google Earth for a number of years now but I would like to step up my performance in the tool.
I work as a telecoms engineer and I have a bunch of data from the network such as lat long, antenna height, azimuth, antenna type and other properties.
I would like to create common shapes that represent these antennas in the network based on the properties above. E.g the data for site X is as follows:
Azimuths 0, 120, 240 Height: 20m Antenna type: Kathrein 80010825 Beamwidth: 65deg Lat/Long: 1.23456 7.89012 CPICH: 33dBm
Therefore at the coordinates above there will be three pie shapes at height 20m with azimuths of 0, 120, 240 and the horizontal angle of the pie shape i.e 0deg antenna + and - 65deg/2.
If I could get this aspect working first of all then I can consider embedding other data into the icons such that when the user clicks on one of the pie symbols it displays other network data.
I would be very grateful to hear your thoughts on the points I've raised above.

jgarrigan I haven't conducted any searches for kml shape drawing tools, but it seems to me that the Show viewshed tool in GEPro would be useful to someone in your business. Do you know it? It's second from the bottom in the right-click drop down menu, just above Properties.

Thanks washi, I'm familiar with the feature, it's a very useful visual tool.
