Has anyone found the exact location of the (possible) Maya city ruin discovered by 15-year-old Canadian student William Gadoury ( announced today)? He discovered the city by comparing the locations of stars with existing Maya city ruins, and he found a location that appears to have structures hidden in the Yucatan jungle. I'd love to view it but news reports aren't specifying the coordinates. =D

hi and welcome! well here they are. both locations marked those are displayed on source pages. however something is not clear around it for me. why it is called remote, while only some 15 kms from inhabited areas, also the square feature has some resemblance of a 200 meters sided, not too young clear-cut in the forest for me. yep, check time scroll and see also 1970's imagery! hmm, dunno foshoo... probably these are only some kind of "illustration" shots and are nothing to do with the discovery...? I suspect the poor teenager didn't actually find anything special. Just some abandoned fields. =(
