I just got a strange image shows plane at the Dompu mountains - Sumbawa Indonesia. It's look like a crashed plane with "ghost shadow". My friend who live nearby of the location says that no plane ever reported crashed at the area. Please check it out:

Hi rhakateza, welcome to the Google Earth Community.
Congratulations on finding your first Plane in Flight.
There are many Planes in flight on GE at any given time, and as you could imagine, as the imagery changes so do the number of captures.
I does appear the tail wing has detached, but the flight shadow shows it was still in flight.
It might appear that this plane is only meters off the ground but it is probably quite high, following a set flight path.
The "Shadow" is caused by the motion and speed of the plane and the effect from satellite pictures captured. It is quite normal.
Check out the Transportation Forum for a post called Planes in Flight and you can see many other finds that have been made into a collection.
Cheers.

Thank you for your explanation about this issue. This is my first plane and also first post on this forum board. My friends argue with me whether this real or manipulated, so I'm looking second opinion here. I have a question, can Goggle earth imagery edited or manipulated? Thanks

All imagery on Google Earth/Maps are free from manipulation with the exception of a very small amount of military locations that were requested, but they will appear as blurred or pixalated. You may also see parts of roads in street view missing as they have a policy to remove if contacted. welcome and enjoy
