Hello Google Earth fans,
The quest is on to find unimproved airstrips about the world to fly my collection of die cast airliners into. Virtually, of course. It is somewhat of a passive hobby, so I'm looking to bring some purpose to it. Google Earth provides the perfect venue for that.
First up is Arrabury Airport, Queensland, Australia. About as remote and unimproved as it can get. Depicted is a Fokker F-27 Friendship on approach to my Arrabury display base. My painted depiction of Google's capturing of Arrabury, as well as my method of display and photography skills all need polishing. But the concept is true. The rest will come along in time.
So tighten your lap belts, place your tray tables and seats in the upright and locked position and enjoy the landings. Cheers, ArnoldC.

In this community its a tradition to use placemarks / kmz file(s) instead of screenshots and or written coordinates. Please educate yourself with this tutorial >> Very basic placemarks and post help << Thanks, ET
