I'm not sure what I'm seeing but it does look a bit like missile or rocket. At the sides of the lower end are two "white marks" and, what looks like a nozzle. It also seems like it has a tail. Missile.kmz (731 B) Oh and I don't know if anyone saw this before but there seems to be a blinking smiley in space. (I guess the mouth is a hair or a scratch) Blinking smiley.kmz (715 B)

I'm not sure what I'm seeing but it doesn't really look like a scratch or a problem with the image/telescope. At the sides of the lower end are two "white marks" and, what looks like a nozzle. (I guess the mouth is a hair or a scratch) Hi, and To Google Earth Community. The blinking smiley, is lint that got on the original image before it was digitalized in a non-cleanroom environment.

Hi, and To Google Earth Community. The blinking smiley, is lint that got on the original image before it was digitalized in a non-cleanroom environment. Hi and thanks! A shame that it wasn't something in space to make it a "real smiley". But I didn't know that they used original images for the map. I always thought they get them digital from the telescope or "department", so thanks for the information!
