New to the forum so was not sure where to post but...
Is there a way to view sketchup model while in street view? I can open the .mkz file and see it in the general google earth view, but when i go to street view, my model goes away.
Thanks in advance

Welcome No you can't see SketchUp models in street view. I have a vague recollection that at one time you could adjust the transparency slider to move between street view and ground level view, but it was a long time ago, and if the option was there once, it's not now. You could always suggest it via the feedback option in the Help menu, but I don't know if Google would consider it. When you're in street view you can click the box icon at the top right to go into ground level view if that helps. There's more about that here: See the world from the ground in Google Earth. ET, new SketchUp models may not be added to Google Earth now, but there are still some old ones present, and people can always open their own models in Google Earth.

... there are still some old ones present... Always nice to see you Noisette! And YES! I just discovered my 4 models are still standing. They no longer match the underlying imagery. (I used to update that regularly but can't anymore.) Anyway... just wanted to say Hi!

Thanks Gregg That's great that your models are still there. I suppose that's an advantage of modelling in more rural areas The models are still available in the historical imagery or if you turn off 3D imagery of course, but I suppose most people won't do that.
