This type of distortion happens when the plane taking the aerial photographs is relatively close (compared to satellite photography) to the lower aircraft and they are moving either in opposite directions or at least in non-parallel paths. The effect is even more pronounced if the plane being photographed is banking, as this one appears to be.

I was willing to bet that this could be an RC....but the chances of catching something so small if it is, is quiet the chance. Spoiler...look closely below you will see an RC field...you can even see a small yellow aircraft on the ground. Anyway.... was one of those great finds, a needle in a haystack for sure.
