Should Old Acquaintance be forgot, and never thought upon; The flames of Love extinguished, and fully past and gone: Is thy sweet Heart now grown so cold, that loving Breast of thine; That thou canst never once reflect On old long syne. CHORUS: On old long syne my Jo, On old long syne, That thou canst never once reflect, On old long syne. Auld Lang Syne Wikipedia.A very happy new year to the GEC members and everyone everywhere. I did sacrifice a small amount of Scotch Whiskey (in a can) to the year past and to the future year. And some more to friends that have left us and to those new. And an extra sip (another can) to the best volunteer Moderators on the net who have worked hard for another year. Please stay safe.

Thanks for that, Richard, old friend - and a Happy New year to you all.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Cheers!
Frank

A few weeks late, but Happy 2016 to all of my GEC friends and family!! The boy is growing like a weed, running like a little linebacker (in American football, that's the stocky tough guys who get the ball to punch through the defenders), and chatting up a storm. He understands some Japanese, as well as English and some sign language, but we still mostly don't know what he's talking about! ..unless it's Batman, Baci, bananas, budo (grapes in Japanese) balloons and brrrooooom brrooooooom when he sees motorbikes or racecars! Apparently he likes "b" words and the occasional boisterous "KANPAI!" (cheers in Japanese) I wish health, happiness, time with good friends, fine wines, cool pints and great rides* to all of you! * you can substitute adventures for rides, if ya don't have a bike! Cheers, - CraigD
