The Sunday Sport, together with its sister paper, the Daily Sport, finally closed its doors on 2 Apr 2011, five years ago yesterday. Probably THE most notable newspapers in Britain for weird stories, the Sports kept Britain amazed and amused with their "exclusives"; if they couldn't find a good story, they got round it by making one up. Famous for their outrageous headlines and badly-PhotoShopped pictures, at the peak of their popularity the group were selling almost 200,000 copies per day.
