Does anyone know what this is? Looks like a tunnel entrance, but it is pretty far from Pearl Harbor. Unknown Facility.kmz (716 B) This facility is nearby and also marked on maps as a US Naval facility, possibly related. Possibly related.kmz (724 B)

Both sites (Your Placemarks) are between a quarry. Your second placemark ( Possibly Related) is an fenced in area behind some residential homes. That could be related to the quarry. I don't see anything that is naval related or have anything do with a naval facility.

Hi, Sorry, I should have included this info in the original post: Both sites are marked as Naval Reservations on the USGS quad. This is the streetview shot of the first location and the second (awkward view from freeway of corner of security fence) They are not associated with the quarry. Any ideas? cheers, kilolima

Still probably water, but there is a slim chance that it could be fuel then.

Can't see anyone storing fuel in such a manner or location. I thought nothing of the two placemarks, the first I think is a garage more likely than a tunnel entrance but, it is interesting the are both navel facilities on both sides of a quarry. The quarry seems legit owned by Grace Pacific. Someone will tell us. Sometimes landfills look like to two locations with vents coming from the ground, something is under there.
