Hi there. I am a civil engineer designing 3D models of underground utilities such as water and sewer mains and am using google earth pro to show the utilities. My question is, is there a way to set the terrain maps to transparent so you can view the modles under the terrain? Thanks Miguel

Hello migpics, Welcome to the GEC.
I don't believe that you can alter the terrain maps ( Google Earth Imagery ) transparency.
You can only set the transparency/opacity level of certain files that you create and save to GE.
These settings are found in the properties of the files you create or edit.
Pretty sure Paths, Polygons, and Image Overlays have these abilities.
Cheers.

Thanks Miguel No, but member Valery35 has done some pretty impressive stuff buy making extruded models. See HERE and HERE for instance. By the way the interior of the GE spheroid (underground) is reserved Google Sky.
