An enormous construction crane, buffeted by high winds and rain, crashed onto the Grand Mosque in Mecca (Makkah), Saudi Arabia. At least 107 people were killed and 238 injured. The annual Hajj pilgrimage to the world's largest and most holy mosque begins in 10 days, but the site is visited by worshipers year-round.
