Here is a clue to #2. It's a little bookish, but it's the only thing I could think of that would offer a chance of finding it. So here goes: Besides Martin Luther and John Calvin, there were others who founded Protestant churches during the Reformation. This church-shaped sculpture was erected in memory of one of them, in the village where he was born. The denomination that is named after him still exists and has between one and a half and two million members. Less than ten thousand of them live in his native country. The sculpture is located a little to the east of the built up area. Good luck!
