I'm not sure if others have noted it. With a clear sky and flat horizon the Moon should be visible on any day except at the time of new moon and full moon. It would even be visible at the time of new moon if it passed directly in front of the sun creating a solar eclipse. That is something I'd really like to see. Of course the sky is not always cloud free and trees, mountains, buildings,traffic, etc. often hide the moon from the street view cars. But pick an area like a sea shore, wide open plains, or deserts, for instance, and the moon has a good possibility of being visible in newer generation street view imagery. I just did a quick search of an open area near Wasco, California and found the moon HERE

Thank you for your reply. I found the Moon somewhere in the USA (some big city - I think it's either Okhaloma or Kansas City) but I've lost the spot.
