Again I don't know if this forum is appropriate for this discussion but I think it's. As you might have noticed, Google Street View started from ugly low-resolution imagery. Some countries with coverage still have lots of places which only have that low-resolution imagery - I think mainly United States and Australia. Sometimes these countries get updates which have better resolution. Do you have any estimation how big is the percentage of updated areas in United States and Australia? Thank you. Some examples of extremely outdated spots: Carnarvon, AustraliaSomewhere in Western Australia Cape York Peninsula, Australia Northern Territory, Australia Springs Road, Queensland, Australia Knotts Island, United States Townsend, MT, United States Electric City, Washington, United States

Hello, outerspaceserver - I'm afraid we aren't at all privy to the plans of the Street View folks at Google. As for update percentages, you can try looking around on the Lat Long Blog or the Google Blog.
