Like the other Amazing view puzzles, there is a very small particular that you need to notice in order to find this, but it's a bit different from the previous ones. I won't give any more hints for now. It's tiny SV blue lines, they work better on Maps. Full size: postimg.org/image/m85kl5hot/full/

Hint: In the other Amazing view puzzles, the key element of the picture was a very big thing, that was usually something unique that identified the place.
Here it's a bit different. The key thing is actually very small, and it's not something that identifies the place, infact this thing is everywhere around the world. But, if you find it here, and you figure out why it's here, then you just need two words for this place to be the first google result.

At least I had an idea that fits all what you said and the OP image. But apparently, that's not it.

Last Hint: The key thing you need to find, is something related to a particular sport, and it is inside this red rectangle in the picture: (remember, the dam is very very famous for this, and it is without any doubt the first result. So if it doesn't, you are searching for the wrong sport).

I had seen the thing I think is the thing that you want us to see, but didn't know what to make of it. After your clue I actually had to go to a list of sports, and I started reading it... and the penny dropped.

Solution: Diga del Luzzone, Switzerland. It has the longest artificial climbing path in the world: on to the dam! In the puzzle pic, on the left side, you can see the last metal ring of the climb where you hook the carabiner. it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diga_del_Luzzone
