Ozark Medieval Fortress

I saw a program on the building of a 13th century replica castle in the Burgundy region (Guedelon) of France. All tools, techniques are authentic to the time period and the project is fascinating! A bit of research revealed a North American counterpart - the Ozark Medieval Fortress. The idea was imported from France but has apparently failed after a couple of years. The site is now for sale - any buyers??

Great story and links. Unlike its relative in France, it hasn't gernered any atention in the GEC or Pictures layer. The sign along route 14 still stood about a year ago (Street View), but the log across the entrance road which reads "Closed for the season" seems a little positive in nature.
