Ten Year Anniversary of Google Earth

That's right, ten years ago - on June 28, 2005 - Google Earth was released. Those of us who were Keyhole users can actually claim even longer familiarity with the application.  Google added a lot of great features in subsequent years (although not so much the last couple of years). The amount of new data on the Earth continues to flow at an amazing rate!

Google will probably be doing their own announcement today (they've had a "Coming Soon" link in the Google Earth layers for over a week).  More to come on that I'm sure.

I read your GEB posts and found them very informative. The Edition 1 sub-folder under the Voyager Layer does seem to hint at things to come.
