I'm a big fan of Live Flight Tracker, so I decided to check out your speculation about the planes departure and destination. There was only one plane in the area when I looked, and it was a KML flight from Amsterdam to Toronto. That, of course, proves absolutely nothing about the plane you spotted, except that it's durned hard to guess the destination of a plane in mid-flight.
