Helicopter with firefighting bucket taking off in Italy

Just caught this on streetview and thought it could be interesting. A firefighting helicopter taking off in Prati di Tivo, a Ski Resort of the highest peak of the Appennini, the Gran Sasso d'Italia, Abruzzo, Italy.

I'd like to request though that you use kmz's in the forum outside of F&G whenever possible. Even lat/long ( 42.49968,13.558337 ) can be used though kmz's are still preferable. Many new members would not be able to find the view on GE otherwise - and that ability to direct another user to a specific location on GE is what this forum has always been about.

I see a lot of construction materials in compounds in this area but no smoke or fire fighting gear, I wonder if this chopper could be  transporting materials to construction sites on the Ski slopes during the off season?

I believe you are correct no_stranger, but not simply materials but Ready-Mix Concrete! If you turn left and move the view one click and zoom in, it appears to be a Concrete Bucket [know that shape from personal hands-on experience ] suspended from that Helo -and- you can just see the top of the drum of a Concrete Ready-Mix truck behind the dirt piles! Move back down the paved road; you will see a construction access road and the Ready-Mix truck is pretty obvious!
