A weekly half hour show, the team gives seasonal tips and visits gardens around the UK. The main presenters and locations are included in this file. 1968-69, Ken Burras, University of Oxford Botanic Garden 1969-76, Percy Thrower, The Magnolias, Shropshire 1976-79, Arthur Billitt, Clack's Farm, Worcestshire 1979-96, Geoff Hamilton, Barnsdale, Rutland 1996-2002, Alan Titchmarsh, Barleywood, Hampshire 2003-08, Monty Don, Berryfields, Warwickshire 2008-10, Toby Buckland, Greenacre, West Midlands 2011-, Monty Don, Longmeadow, Herefordhsire Percy Thrower, always a gentleman, he usually wore a tie, even when digging, and smoked a pipe on TV.
