To find these locations, I had to be like water.

When I was stationed in a remote US Army post, our 20+ Army community was sent 16mm movies to put on for all the soldiers and families.  This gentleman's movies were a big hit and we would rotate residences for movie showing.  Had to learn the projector functions and the host had to provide all the drinks and appetizers.  The Army guys were excited to watch, but the wives, not so much.
