Hands Along Road to Sculpture Garden

Sometimes back, Syzygy sent me a link to a roadside hand sculpture. I am now in the process of updating my Giant Hands Around the World collection and have found that the hand sent by Syzygy is not the only one on that road. There are a few more hands, which act as a way marker on the road leading to a large Sculpture Garden in Latin America.

So far, I have found four more hands. All the hands shown here (in random order of distance) are within 10 kilometres from the Sculpture Garden.

Hand supporting a feminine figure (male figure?)


Hand with open palm on the ground.


Hand holding a bird (probably an eagle).


Hand supporting a feminine figure and a dog.


Hand supporting something weird. GSV is not very clear. Double kudos if you can identify what is in the hand.


Five (5) GSVs please, and kudos if you can find more hands along this road. The Sculpture Garden is a treasure trove of sculptures, including hand sculptures.

syzygy  although you have a bit of an advantage in knowing the location of one of the hands, but please feel free to participate.

Well done, and thank you, krenek, Walter_V_R, and hhgygy, for finding more hands, which I had missed. I have been able to find all these and will also include them in my collection.

Walter_V_R Your #4 is not a hand, so I did not include it. There is another sculpture near the palm on the ground. I had ignored it as well.

Found these two hands, but not the right place.  Thought I would post anyway while I still look for the originals.

{Answer}The hands are on the road from Nova Palma the Jardim das Esculturas, São João dos Mellos, RS, Brazil and also on the road from Ivora to the Sculpture garden.

These can be seen in my latest update of "Giant Hands Around the World".

dagger66, I somehow completely overlooked the two hands you posted. I've been overwhelmed with the work on collection and am mentally tired. Could you please send the link for those hands so I can include them in the collection as well? Thanks.
