Google Earth UPDATES layer

I use Google Earth Pro, the stand alone app, but recently stumbled upon this useful link, the Updates layer in the web version.

The link I found had the layer turned on.  It is available via the Menu Bar > View drop menu > Layers.  Same place as the Photos layer turns on/off.

I wish they added this feature to the stand alone app.

Looks like this feature was discontinued. It was very useful this summer when a vast amount of the core geoglyphs region updated. I hope it returns, I'll check from time to time.
