Gravity hills, also known as magnetic hills, mystery hills, gravity roads, or anti-gravity hills are a place where the layout of the land creates an optical illusion in which a slight downhill appears to be an uphill slope and objects roll "uphill." According to researchers, gravity hills tend be located in areas where the stretch of road is relatively short (50-90 m), not too wide, and surrounded by a natural landscape devoid of buildings. These geographical aspects combine to create an optical illusion that gives visitors the impression that a downhill slope is actually uphill. Video explanations for how this works: This collection has 163 different gravity hills around the world, organized by country. Note: I have not tried out any of these, so they may or may not visually work. I tried to pinpoint each location as best as possible, but many of these are not well documented, so the location may be off.
