i think the guy we can hear in the mp3 is not the one who lived in this house but they bear the very same first name & name ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- According to most web sites this narration was done on an album by one of my favorite bands. They enlisted him for the gig because "It made us laugh". I don't want to say more as I don't want to give anything away to those who want to solve the puzzle.

I must admit I've no idea what this is about, since reverse audio search doesn't exist yet (to my knowledge).

Well done everybody. {Answer}It was my intention to make a puzzle about "Professor" Stanley Unwin the comedian (1911-2002), not Sir Stanley Unwin the founder of the George Allen and Unwin publishing house (1884-1968). So I searched for a possible blue plaque for the comedian, and found one for the publisher instead. Then I realized that a clue related to the former could still point to a blue plaque dedicated to the latter, the two being namesakes. The blue plaque for Sir Stanley is attached to the house at 13 Handen Road, Lee, in the London Borough of Lewisham. Here is some more "Unwinese" from the comedian, who contributed a story about a character named Happiness Stan to a studio album by the Small Faces, Ogden's Nut Gone Flake (1969).
