The Answer:
The commonality of both is their height. RIS for # 1 quickly leads to the Mont Bouquet (or Guidon du Bouquet). 44 ° 07'59.05 "N 4 ° 17'08.37" E A search for a transmitter mast that is roughly the same height is easy and results in the KVLY mast in North Dakota. 47 ° 20'32.41 "N 97 ° 17'20.40" W.
