I saw this thread just now after the Tabasco puzzle got bumped up and there was a link (posted by Krenek) to this thread. I wasn't around when The Ledge posted this thread, and I'm sorry, as I was sorry to hear he had passed.
I always thought "The Ledge" was just short for "The Legend", as is often the case in English. Now I guess it is actually what it really means.
Thank you, Ledge.

Willie Nelson - oh, I didn't recognize him! If I were to use who I look like: Years after I entered the unimaginative diane9247 as my user name, I thought of my nickname in high school: Olive Oyl. I was tall and very skinny (ahh, those were the days...). I would have had a cute avatar, too. After the 1974 Patty Hearst kidnapping people told me I resembled her (I kind of did) and got some stares when the FBI was all over the SF Bay Area looking for her. I became a little bit reluctant to be in public! I wouldn't use her as an avatar, but it's a fun story.

Mine is simple
ndr = the consonants of my first name qu = the first two letters of my surname
I tried many more combinations, but I liked this one because it's a totally unique word: if you search ndrqu on Google, you will only find me or stuff related to me only. I also liked it because it's almost symmetrical: nd and qu look like they are flipped!

Mine is simple.
Ancientdelta stands for "ancient pyramid" Δ and at the same time, the ancient river delta which I believe existed in the Danakil Depression region.
It's also the name I chose to my instagram account where I share some archeological aerials found through GE.
