Accident Dagestan Airlines Flight 372

Dagestan Airlines' flight 372 from Mosakau to Makhachkala in Darkestan ended on 4 December 2010 after a 30-minute flight with a fatal crash landing. When the TU-154M (code RA-85744) was already at about 9000 m altitude were two of the three engines off. The crew attempted an emergency landing at Moscow Domodedovo Airport, but it ended with the machine breaking apart.
The cause was human error. The flight engineer accidentally shut down a fuel pump and the pilots were not adequately trained in handling two failed engines.
Of the 168 inmates, two were killed and 92 were seriously injured. The plane is meanwhile remouved.
