Edit: Also some new Feb 2020 imagery in the USA. Not sure exactly where, but I've seen some in Nevada and California.

Next update is going to take awhile. Not sure what Google did, but about 25% of the Google Maps links don't work anymore and the latest SV imagery is shown rather than the actual date of the find.

I'm debating how I should move forward, since this actually happens quite a lot, with imagery being "lost" and then my manually attempting to re-find or, it it magically coming back later. Since it takes a LONG time to go through all 3000+ finds and check if the find is still actually there (and then if it isn't, re-find it), I've been thinking about how to move forward. I could really trim down the finds to just the top 1000 best finds, but I'd rather not (since "best" is very subjective). I think what I will do is to not check for outdated imagery every update anymore and only check for updates once a year, with updates focused on new finds. Then version 7.1, 7.2, etc will be new finds only and version 8.0, 9.0, etc will be imagery updates.

You didn't mention what version of you are now using.  Are you aware that a new version of GEP (7.3.3) was launched in late April?  My understanding is that some features in older versions are not being supported, so you might want to try installing the new version.

Ahh, just looked at 7.3.3 update notes and it says "Explore Street View with updated navigation similar to Google Earth on web". I'm on 7.3.2, will update and see how it changes! Thanks for pointing this out washi!

Tried out 7.3.3
Pretty cool that you can zoom in now (right click and up/down). However, you can't save the zoom level, so it's pretty pointless for this collection.
Also - the new movement arrows are super big and totally in the way, makes looking at things pretty annoying!

The same goes for me. Surprising. Even with me, Google Maps assignments are no longer correct or I can no longer reproduce the aircraft found. The mouse control in GE has also been different for a few days. I have GEp not updated (still 7.3.2.5776)

Ok, we have to live with it.
