This forgotten F1 circuit was founded in 1926. Its configuration has changed somewhat over the years - originally it was 7.8 km - this was shortened to 7.15 by 1937. The last Formula One race was held here in 1966. Reims-Gueux was known as a drifting (slip-streaming) circuit with its two long straights. Fangio holds the lap record, set in 1951. The circuit was closed permanently in 1972 due to financial reasons. The pits and grandstands are still extant and open to visitors. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reims-GueuxReims-Gueux Circuit..kmz (2.36 KB)
