The bluedot image used by me and the bluedot found by krenek and lockhopper were posted by same person. It is very recent post. The SV in my bluedot can be seen by hovering/dropping the pegman over the name of the person.

Yes I am convinced that it is a photoshop uploaded soon after the toppling. I compared the maintenance works, busses, cars, as well as pedestrians all around, seen in GSV of Jun 2016, with my bluedot. These are all same.

The statue that we see is toppled in 2013. It is from Syria, the late father of president Assad

The Toppled image which was photoshopped is no longer available. Google must have removed it. However another photoshopped image, given below, is now available at the very spot. Those of you who have yet to find can post the new photoshopped or the original sculpture which was located here but was toppled and later dumped in river. Thanks krenek for above image.
